Those using combined contraceptive pill take one pill every day for 21 days and then for seven days of bleed they don’t take pill. If they stop taking a 7 day break then period will get delayed. Similarly those using everyday pills (ED) take one pill every day for 21 days and then dummy pills for next seven days. Such women can delay their periods by throwing away 7 dummy pills of the current pack and starting new pack immediately.
